Repeat the exercise 8 times.

The third exercise which also helps eliminate one the lower abdominal fats is as follows: retain the position as described above and put your hand beneath your head so as to avoid neck strain or any other mishap. Lift your shoulders off the ground by using energy of the abdominals, not the neck and hold for almost 10 seconds. It is recommended not to hold the breath while doing this exercise and one should also try to keep their abs contracted. If one desires to increase the resistance to enhance the efficacy of this exercise, they should try straightening their legs and do the same procedure.
